Dominoes

I took these pictures awhile ago but they make it onto my favorite list. I really like the depth of field in the dominoes picture as well. It's one thing I'm starting to experiment with more-that and angles.

One of my homework assignments was sports, and since my daughter is in karate I decided to take pictures of her. Here's my favorite shot.

Fashion Shoot

Just a few of my favorites from a fashion shoot that I did. There's actually a few more that I like as well. This was actually one of my homework assignments. It was fun. Lol, I did a lot of rolling around on the ground for these shots.

Endless

Another one of my favorites. This photo was taken up north and I was actually still in the car-not driving of course. The colors just draw me in, a well as the angle of this endless road.

These were some practice shots we did in class for my homework assignment due next week which is on dramatic head shots..these were actually taken with my Sony Alpha 350 in the school's studio..

Portrait Class..

Here are a few more pictures I had taken for my portrait class. The last picture of my niece Raven, I didn't actually end up turning in, but I still really like it. She has some very pretty eyes! The top two are of my pet turtle. It was a class assignment for pet photography and I ended up choosing to do him. I think the detailing game out great.

Portrait for class

This is my nephew Ronny. He wanted to be my little ginny pig for my portrait assignment in class. He listens very well! He actually proceeded to tell me during the shoot, that he wanted to be a photographer. I say "Oh, really?" and proceeded to ask him what kind of photographer. He says he wants to take photos of people and go from school to school and take pictures of kids just like they do at his school...how cute.

First Post

This is my first time starting a blog. I'm a student double majoring in Digital Imaging & Photography. Right now I'm finding my style and at the moment I'm experimenting with angles. I find that I like doing Portraits, Weather, Landscapes and shooting random objects. I actually have hopes of photographing tornadoes one day. This picture I'm posting I took in Arizona up north by the Rim. It was a semi rainy weekend and I was up north camping and every time we passed by these trees that were falling over and flooded with rain water I would exclaim that I wanted a picture. I was just drawn to them. The day we were leaving I managed to snap a shot. It's one of my favorite photos.
